L&T Hydrocarbon - IIT Scholarship Scheme for M.Tech (Offshore Structural Engineering) programme.

Objectives
To build a Talent Pool in the area of Offshore Structural Engineering to meet the growing requirement for specialists in this area in the company
To help engineers develop an in-depth knowledge and skills in Offshore Structural Engineering.
To provide an employee value proposition to young talented engineers to acquire the coveted PG qualificationone of the premier institutes in the country.
To enhance the brand image of the company and attract top talentthe industry.
The M.Tech Programme:
The Programme, which will be of two years duration spread over four semesters, will conform to the standard M.Tech Programme announced by IIT Madras.
Executives successfully completing the Programme (both in terms of attendance as well as performance in assignments, tests, examinations, project work etc.) will be awarded a Post Graduate Degree in Engineering titled Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Offshore Structural Engineering by IIT Madras, which is equivalent to the M .Tech Degree offered to full time students of the institute.
Selection Process:
Short-listed candidates will be called for a written test to be conducted by IIT Madras in co-ordination with LTHE at 4 locations: Madras, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai on 16th May 2015. Candidates who clear the written test, will be called for Interview at IIT Madras on 5thJune 2015. Final selection will be based upon the interview results & subject to medical fitness as certified by LTHE’s authorized medical centres.
